Rum Syrup

1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 tablespoons Jamaica rum

Preparation / Directions:

In small, heavy saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from fire. When syrup is lukewarm, add lemon juice and rum.
