Rice Custard - (Riz Au Lait)

|1 package dessert rice -- * see note
|3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Preparation / Directions:
* Note: The recipe for "Dessert Rice" is included in this database.
Prepare Dessert Rice as directed, but replace egg yolks with whole eggs beaten until foamy.
Place rice mixture in a buttered ovenproof baking dish.
Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons granulated sugar. Place under broiler flame for 5 minutes, or until sugar turns brown. Serve hot.
