Halibut With Cilantro Pesto

Ingredients:


1 recipe cilantro pesto*

6 fillets halibut steaks -- **

2 tablespoons margarine or butter -- melted

2 tablespoons lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


* see the Sauce recipe collection ** Fish steaks should be cut about 1-inch thick and weigh about 5 oz each. Prepare Cilantro Pesto and set aside. Heat oven to 450F Place the fish steaks in an ungreased rectangular baking dish 13 X 9 X 2-inches. Mix margarine and lemon juice. Pour the mixture over the fish. Bake, uncovered, until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with Cilantro Pesto.
