Montauk Baked Blueflsh

Ingredients:


2 pounds bluefish fillets or other fish fillets -- fresh or frozen

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup melted margarine or butter

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon thyme
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cut into serving-size portions Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put fish in a well-greased 2-quart baking dish. Combine margarine, lemon juice, and thyme. Pour over fish. Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F., for 10 to 15 minutes, checking for change in translucency or until fish flakes easily. Makes 6 servings.
