Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder

2 large eggs -- plus enough milk to equal 1/2 cup liquid

1 tablespoon oil or melted butter

Preparation / Directions:

Sift the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add eggs, milk and butter or oil to dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until well blended. Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk if needed to be a little on the sticky side. Drop by tablespoons into hot boiling chicken broth. Cover and let boil for 12-15 minutes. If you don't want big clumps, which I prefer. Knead dough on floured surface until stiff. Roll out and cut into squares or long strips. If you want to add more flavor to the dumplings; add garlic powder, onion powder or parsley to the doug
