Red Bean Dip

Ingredients:


5 ounces red kidney beans -- (dried)

2 cloves garlic

1 medium jalapeno pepper -- cored and seeded

1/4 cup water

1/2 cup corn oil

1 1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 dash Tabasco sauce
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cover the beans with cold water and soak overnight Drain beans; place them in a saucepan, and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer about 45 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain and cool completely. Mix all ingredients in blender or food processor.
