Garlic-Herb Cheese Spread

1 cup ricotta or farmers cheese
8 ounces cream cheese - -- (1 pkg), softened and cut up
2 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs -- (such as sage, thyme, marjoram,oregano, savory, rosemary)
2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil -- dill, or tarragon
1 tablespoon fresh chopped chervil or chives
1/4 teaspoon black pepper -- freshly ground
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
1 sprig fresh herbs -- for garnish

Preparation / Directions:

In blender container or food processor bowl, place all ingredients. Cover and process till smooth. Turn mixture into a crock lined with leaves of the fresh herbs used. Garnish top of spread with another herb sprig. Chill till needed. Serve with crackers, fresh vegetable sticks, or on open-faced sandwiches.
