Steamed Bay Rice

Ingredients:


1/2 cup water

1/2 cup long-grain rice

1 whole clove -- or 1/8-tsp ground

1 whole bay leaf

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon paprika
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine the water, rice, clove, and bay leaf in a small saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer until done. Remove the bay leaf and clove. Stir in the paprika and parsley to serve. 2 servings/Serving size: 1/2 recipe
