Ingredients:


500 grams sweet potatoes -- boiled and grated

60 grams mawa * -- crumbled

80 grams paneer -- grated

25 grams ginger - julienne

30 grams mint leaves -- chopped

10 grams grated nutmeg

50 grams broken cashew nuts -- fried

125 grams roasted gram flour -- (besan)

10 grams white pepper powder

1 teaspoon salt -- to taste

---FOR THE GARNISH---

1 teaspoon chaat masala powder

1 tablespoons lime juice -- as needed
 

Preparation / Directions:


"SHAKARKANDHI KE SEEKH (Sweet potato kabobs served with mint chuntey)" *(also known as khoa or khoya) is milk cooked down until fudge-like MIX sweet potatoes, mawa, paneer, ginger, mint leaves, cashew nuts, nutmeg and the seasoning. Add gram flour and bind to a dough. Take small portions of the dough and put on skewers as for seekh kabobs. Cook in medium hot tandoor until done. Sprinkle chaat masala and lime juice on top. Serve with mint chutney.
