Five Hour Stew

Ingredients:


2 pounds beef stew meat -- cut in 2 inch cubes

1 medium onion, -- chopped

6 medium carrots, -- cut lengthwise

7 medium potatoes peeled and halved

3 stalks celery, -- chunked or sliced

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

16 ounces tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

3 tablespoons tapioca

1 teaspoon sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put meat and vegetables in a crockpot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat and vegetables. Cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
