Blue-Ribbon Fruit Cookies

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons butter -- melted
3/4 cup light brown sugar -- packed
2 large eggs
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate -- melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup candied pineapple -- chopped
1/2 cup nuts -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:

Makes 2 dozen large cookies 1. Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs. 2. Add chocolate; beat thoroughly. 3. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; add to chocolate mixture and beat well. 4. Add raisins, pineapple and nuts. 5. From teaspoon, drop silver-dollar size dough onto a greased baking sheet; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 10 minutes.
