Big Drop Cookies

1 cup crisco
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
7 cups flour

Preparation / Directions:

Mix together first 7 ingredients and blend well. Add last 3 ingredients (salt, baking soda and flour). Mix and knead with hands until well blended. To this you may add chocolate chips, raisins, nuts, chopped cherries, chopped dates, etc. Bake at 375*F until golden brown, or the way you like them. (There is no specified time on this recipe...) For drop cookies, these cookies are big, approx. 6" in diameter. I have made them various sizes.
