Chocolate Marshmallow Sauce

Ingredients:


2 cups sugar

1 cup boiling water

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup shredded fresh marshmallows or

1/2 cup miniature marshmallows

1 quart ice cream
 

Preparation / Directions:


Makes 2 cups sauce 1. Cook sugar and water in saucepan to 220 F. on candy thermometer. 2. Remove from heat; stir in cocoa, vanilla and marshmallows until melted. 3. Cool, without stirring, until bottom of pan just feels warm to hand. 4. Beat to thicken. Serve warm over ice cream.
