Savory Chicken Casserole

2 cups cooked chicken breasts -- sliced
8 ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons chicken soup herbs -- * see note
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 medium Onion -- chopped
1 cup mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
16 ounces egg noodles cooked and drained

Preparation / Directions:

Saute the onion and mushrooms in oil; stir into the sour cream and herbs. Put noodles in a casserole dish. Pour sour cream mixture over noodles. Put chicken on top and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. **a blend of thyme, parsley, savory, celery seed and spices.
