Fruity Chicken Salad

Ingredients:


1/2 cup miracle whip salad dressing

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1 dash pepper

2 cups chopped cooked chicken

2 cups pineapple chunks

1 1/2 cups strawberry halves

1 cup green grapes

1 cup celery slices

1 bunch lettuce

1/4 cup toasted chopped walnuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine salad dressing, salt, ginger and pepper; mix well. Add chicken, fruit and celery; mix lightly. Chill. Serve on lettuce covered platter; top with walnuts. 6 to 8 servings. Variations: Omit walnuts. Substitute chopped apples for strawberry halves and red grapes for green grapes. Substitute 20oz can pineapple chunks, drained, for fresh pineapple; add to chicken mixture just before serving. Preparation Tiime: 15 minutes Chilling Time: 3 hours
