Preparation / Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a saucepot. Add the cornstarch, stirring constantly. Add the milk in small batches, mixing well after each addition. Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add the pepper.
Whisk together the mayonnaise, curry, and lemon juice. Place a layer of chicken, broccoli, and bread crumbs in a nonstick casserole dish. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the chicken layer. Pour the cream sauce on top, then add cheese. Sprinkle paprika over the casserole and bake until hot and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
