Chicken Carbonara with French Fried Onions

Ingredients:


1 pound chicken tenders

12 ounces alfredo sauce

1 cup milk

1 1/3 cups french fried onions -- divided

10 ounces frozen peas -- thawed and drained

2 tablespoons real bacon bits *or*

2 strips crumbled -- cooked bacon

1 package hot cooked pasta
 

Preparation / Directions:


Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray; heat over high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir about 5 minutes or until browned. Stir in Alfredo sauce and milk. Add 2/3 cup French Fried Onions, peas and bacon bits. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Makes 4 to 6 servings Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes
