1/2 pound ground round
1/2 cup onion
6 ounces tomato paste
12 ounces beer
16 ounces kidney beans
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation / Directions:

Combine beef and onions in a saucepan, over a moderate flame heat and stir for 5-10 minutes, until beef has browned and onions have softened add tomato paste and beer-mix well add beans in their juice, chili powder, sugar, and garlic powder-mix well season to taste with salt and black pepper bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, adding water as needed to adjust consistency serve hot
