Green Beans Casserole

Baked Green beans and mushrooms in mushroom sauce.
 

Ingredients:


9 ounces Green beans, fresh or frozen,cut lengthwise in 2

10 ounces Cream of Mushroom soup

1/8 cup milk powder OR 1/2 cup milk

4 ounces Mushrooms (diced)

3 ounces french fried onions

2 tablespoons Pimientos

1/4 cup Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)* * you can use any cheese you like to get the variation.

2 teaspoon Olive oil

1/8 teaspoon Black pepper, ground

1 teaspoon salt to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine the soup, milk, mushrooms, half of the onion rings, pimientos, salt and pepper in a large bowl with olive oil and mix well. In the meanwhile preheat oven to 350'F. Combine green beans, half the soup mixture and mix well. Spoon in a baking dish and pour the remaining soup mixture on top of it. Bake for about 20 minutes. Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese and remaining onion rings and bake until brown. Serve hot with Veggie or Pork chop
