Shellfish Casserole

Ingredients:


1/3 cup unsalted butter

3/4 pound tiger prawn

3/4 pound bay scallops

1/2 pound crabmeat

1/4 cup flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons dry white wine

1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

1/4 cup cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon paprika
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat 1/3 cup butter in a large saucepan, over a medium flame add shrimp and scallops, heat and stir for 4-6 minutes, until opaque remove from heat remove shrimp and scallops with a slotted spoon add crab to the shrimp and scallops, set aside place saucepan over a medium flame whisk in flour, salt, and white pepper heat and stir until bubbly gradually whisk or stir in milk heat and stir until thickened slightly stir in white wine gently fold in the shrimp, scallops, and crab spoon into individual ramekins or other heatproof baking dishes combine breadcrumbs, grated cheese, and melted butter-mix well divide mixture evenly between portions and sprinkle on top of each bake @ 350 degrees for 10-15 mintues garnish with paprika serve hot
