Ingredients:


1 pound carrots -- thinly sliced

40 grams golden raisins

50 grams butter

50 milliliters honey

15 milliliters lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 cup sliced -- unpeeled almonds
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cook carrots, covered, in 1 cm boiling water 8 minutes; drain. 2. Turn carrots into a 1 l baking dish. Stir in raisins, butter, honey, lemon juice and ginger. 3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 190 øC oven 35 minutes; stir occasionally. 4. Spoon into serving bowl. Sprinkle with almonds. Difficulty : very easy. Precision : measure ingredients.
