Ingredients:

2 large egg whites
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon orange rind
1/2 teaspoon orange juice
 

Preparation / Directions:

Beat egg whites and salt until stiff but not dry. Add sugar gradually, beating constantly. Fold in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly buttered cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. 36 meringues at 13 cal. each
