Kentucky Bourbon Balls

Ingredients:

1 1/2 package confectioners sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup pecans finely chopped
1/4 cup bourbon
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 package paraffin wax
3 tablespoons butter or shortening
 

Preparation / Directions:

Soak nuts in bourbon over night. Work sugar, butter and nuts together. Roll into small balls about the size of walnuts. Put toothpicks into each one and freeze. Melt chocolate, butter and paraffin in top of double boiler. Dip balls into melted chocolate and place on waxed paper. Twist out toothpicks and drizzle a small amount of chocolate into hole.
