Ingredients:


10 ounces flour

10 ounces cold tea

5 ounces sugar

15 ounces fruit

2 ounces margarine

1 teaspoon spice

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons treacle
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put tea, sugar, fruit, margarine and treacle into pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. Sift in flour, spice and baking soda. Bake for 1 hour or a little longer in a moderate oven.
