100 Grams butter -- (3,5 oz.)
250 Grams sugar (8 -- 8 oz.), at roomtemperature
200 Grams flour -- (7 oz:)
200 Grams coconut powder -- (7 oz:)
4 large eggs
8 ounces milk
1 Tablespoon baking powder melted in 3 tbsp milk
3 tablespoons Garnish: 3 tbsp sugar syrup (or similar)
5 ounces coconut powder

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven at 180° C (356 F). Mix butter and sugar till foamy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, and blend well. Keep egg whites in a separate bowl. Add flour, coconut powder, milk and baking powder melted in milk. Whip egg whites and add to dough, blending gently. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Garnish: spread with sugar syrup and then with coconut powder. Serve cold.
