Snow Flurry Brownies

Ingredients:


1 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter or margarine -- melted

2 large eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

213 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup baking cocoa

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup vanilla chips

1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts or almonds
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, co- coa, baking powder and salt; add to sug- ar mixture and mix well. Stir in vanilla chips and nuts. Spread into a greased 8- in. square baking pan. Bake at 350o for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick in- serted near the center comes out with moist crumbs (do not overbake). Cool on a wire rack. Cut into diamond shapes if desired.
