Santa Fe Chili Corn Bread

Ingredients:


1 cup yellow corn meal -- (275 ml)

1 cup all purpose flour -- (275 ml)

1 tablespoon baking powder -- (15 gr)

2 tablespoons sugar -- (10 gr)

1 teaspoon mccormick ground cumin -- (5 gr)

1/2 teaspoon mccormick garlic powder -- (2.5 gr)

1/2 teaspoon mccormick chili powder -- (2.5 gr)

1/2 teaspoon salt -- (2.5 gr)

1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies -- (68.75 ml)

1 cup milk -- (275 ml)

1/4 cup butter -- melted (68.75 ml)

1 large egg

1 tablespoons additional mccormick chili powder
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 425ΓΈ F. Lightly grease an 8x8-inch pan. 2. Combine first 8 ingredients; add chilies. Stir in milk, butter and egg. 3. Pour into pan; sprinkle with Chili Powder. Bake for 20 min.
