Maple-Buttermilk Bread

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 tablespoons plus 1 tsp. pure maple syrup

1 cup water

2 cups unbleached white flour

1 cup whole-wheat flour

4 tablespoons powdered buttermilk

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon yeast
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Place all ingredients in the order listed into the bread machine. 2. Program the machine for basic bread setting and press start. Notes: All flours are approximate measures. You may use more or less, depending on the weight and absorbency of your flour.
