1 bottle apple-cherry juice -- (48 oz.)
3 pieces three-inch long cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup dried dried apples
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup raisins
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation / Directions:

In a large saucepan, combine juice, cinnamon sticks, apples, dates, raisins, and vanilla. Bring to a simmer and remove from heat. Allow to cool. Cover and chill overnight. Drain the liquid through a strainer or doubled layer of cheesecloth into a bowl. Pour liquid into a glass bottle with lid. Serve hot or cold. Store in refrigerator.
