Flank Steak Teriyaki Barbeque

3/4 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup soy sauce and honey
2 tablespoons cider vinegar and finely chopped onions
1 large garlic clove minced or mashed
1 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 fillets flank steak about 2 pounds...not scored

Preparation / Directions:

Combine oil, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, onion, garlic and ginger. Pour over steak. Allow to marinate for 4 hours or more; turn occasionally with marinage. Then either barbeque steak until done or oven broil if preferred, turning the steak and marinating both sides while cooking. Carve into thin slices, cutting on the diagonal from top to bottom of the steak, as for London broil.
