Maple Baked Beans

Ingredients:


1 pound navy beans -- (dry)

2 cups chili sauce

1 teaspoon dry mustard

5 slices bacon -- chopped

1 cup maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 medium onion -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Soak beans overnight and drain.

2. Add remaining ingredients and enough water to cover beans. Bake at 325 F for 2 hours or until beans mash easily.

3. Remove 1 cup cooked beans and mash them. Add to remaining to beans to thicken. Serve.
