Mabel's Chili

30 ounces red beans
1 large onion -- chopped
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 bottle del monte chili sauce
2 cans campbells tomato soup
1 tablespoons chili powder
1 bottle tabasco sauce

Preparation / Directions:

Brown onions in skillet; remove. Brown ground beef; drain. Season with chili powder and Tabasco. Place browned ground beef and onions in large pot. Add remaining ingredients and let simmer for at least one hour. Serve with grated cheese and chopped onion if desired.
