1/2 cup lard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground oregano
 

Preparation / Directions:

MASH THE COOKED BEANS WITH A RICER OR POTATO MASHER HEAT THE BACON FAT IN A LARGE SKILLET, OVER A MEDIUM FLAME ADD THE MASHED BEANS, SALT, AND OREGANO HEAT AND STIR UNTIL ALL BACON FAT HAS BEEN ABSORBED AND BEANS DRY SLIGHTLY SERVE HOT, GARNISHED AS DESIRED
