Bean Pie

Ingredients:


3/4 Cup pinto bean pulp

3/4 Cup milk

1/2 Cup sugar

1 teaspoon allspice

1/8 teaspoon cloves

1/4 teaspoon mace

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

1 tablespoons butter

1 crust deep pie pan (8 to 9 inch) baked until just done but still light crust
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat bean pulp, milk, sugar, spices and salt in double boiler. Beat egg and butter add bean mixture. Pour hot mixture into baked pie crust. Bake in 350 F. oven for about 30 minutes or until filling is set in center.
