8 slices bacon strips -- chopped
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup apple cider
32 ounces baked beans -- undrained
1/4 cup raisins -- (up to 1/2)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation / Directions:

In a skillet, lightly fry bacon. Remove to paper towel to drain. Discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings. Saute onion in the drippings until tender. Add all remaining ingredients. bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
