Ingredients:

1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5 cups sweet onion
3 teaspoons wine vinegar
 

Preparation / Directions:

combine oil, sugar, salt, and pepper heat and stir over a low flame to dissolve sugar add onions and stir to coat well cover and simmer for 30 minutes, over a low flame, stirring often stir in vinegar, cover, and simmer for 30-45 minutes, over a low flame, until thickened cool
