1 cup flour
2/3 cup yellow cornmeal
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons corn oil
1 pound cocktail wieners
1 Cup oil

Preparation / Directions:

combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl in another bowl, combine egg, milk, and 2 tablespoons oil add to flour mixture, stir to mix well heat oil to 375 degrees dip wieners in batter allow excess to drip off fry for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes, until golden drain on paper towels serve warm serve warm, with mustard to the side
