Green Beans Au Gratin

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup processed cheese
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups cooked green beans slivered -- fresh or frozen
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
 

Preparation / Directions:

Melt the butter; add flour, salt and mustard. Cook over low heat until bubbly. Add milk and cook until thick and smooth. Add cheese and stir until completely melted. Add beans, which have been cooked in boiling salted water until just under done. Pour into buttered casserole, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 for 30 mins, until bubbly. Add slivered almonds sometime. I sprinkle 1 can French's Fried Onions on top. Men like onions while ladies enjoy the almond
