Preparation / Directions:
6-8 servings: 25 to 27 minutes on HIGH 3-4 servings: small beets 16-18 minutes on HIGH medium beets 19-20 minutes on HIGH 1-2 servings: 12 minutes on HIGH
Select small or medium beets. Wash beets. Cut off all but 1 inch of stem and root. Do not peel. In a casserol of correct size, combine either whole medium or small beets with water. Cover. Microwave at full power (HIGH) for time in chart above or until tender, stirring once. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Drain. Peel and slice or dice, or serve small beets whole.
