Apples And Onions

Ingredients:

4 Large Spanish onions -- sliced
3 Large cooking apples -- sliced
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 Cup water
1 stick butter
 

Preparation / Directions:

Cook onions in some butter until nearly soft. Slice apples and add to onions. Pour in 1/2 cup water. Put lid on pan and cook 15 minutes or until apples are tender but not mushy. Remove lid, with brown sugar and cook, uncovered, for a few minutes longer.
