1 medium Onion -- chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt and pepper -- to taste
3 cups cabbage -- coarsely shredded
1 can tomato soup

Preparation / Directions:

Brown beef in skillet with onion. Add salt and pepper. Place cabbage in a lightly greased casserole dish. Spread meat mixture over cabbage. Pour tomato soup (not diluted) over meat and spread to edges of the casserole dish. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. I've been making this for almost 30 years. It's one of my "comfort" fo
