Tuna Luau

Ingredients:


2 cans tuna -- drained and flaked

1 can pineapple tidbits -- (reserve, liquid) (9 oz)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon msg or lemon juice

3 tablespoons cider vinegar

2 teaspoons prepared mustard

3/4 cup water

1 medium green pepper -- cut in strips

3 Cup cooked rice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Put tuna into skillet. Add liquid from pineapple, sugar, cornstarch, MSG, vinegar and mustard, and water. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Simmer 10 minutes, then add pineapple and green pepper strips, and simmer another 10 minutes. Serve over hot rice.
