Tofu Piccata

Ingredients:


12 ounces tofu cutlets

1 tablespoons baking blend

1 cup bread crumbs fresh

1 cup flour

1 bottle marinara sauce

1 spray cooking spray

1 medium lemon slices

1 bunch herbs -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Make fresh bread crumbs. Spray cooking sheet with cooking spray. Dip thawed, dried cutlets into unbleached flour, then into Baking Blend, then into crumbs and then lay onto cooking sheet. Bake coated cutlets at 400 degrees turning once to be sure both sides are nicely browned. Serve with warmed Marinara sauce or other desired sauce. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped herbs. NOTES : This dish can be served with different sauces besides Marinara.
