Ingredients:


---COCOA TART SHELLS---

2 cups confectioners sugar

1 cup ground almonds

1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

1/2 cup milk

---FILLING---

3 ounces cream cheese -- softened

2 cups confectioners sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 cup blanched almonds -- coarsely chopped

1/4 cup candied cherries -- quartered

1/4 cup candied cherries -- halved
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cocoa Tart Shells: 1. Combine confectioners' sugar, vanilla wafer crumbs, almonds and cocoa in mixing bowl; sprinkle in milk, mixing until ingredients are moistened and cling together. 2. Shape into walnut-size pieces; place in 30 paper-lined muffin cups (1 3/4 inches in diameter). 3. Press dough against bottom and side of each cup to form shell. Chill. Filling: 1. Beat cream cheese in small mixer bowl; gradually blend in confectioners' sugar, vanilla and almond extract until smooth. 2. Stir in almonds and 1/4 cup candied cherries. 3. Spoon filling into tart shells; garnish with halved candied cherries. 4. Chill until f
