Spaghetti Squash (Microwaved)

Ingredients:


4 pound spaghetti sauce

1/3 cup water

1 piece baking dish 13 x 9 inch
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place whole squash in proper sized baking dish. Microwave at full power (HIGH) according to chart below. Halve squash lengthwise. Remover seeds and membrane. Place squash, cut side up, in same baking dish. Add water. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave at full power (HIGH) according to chart below or until tender, giving dish a half turn once. Let stand, covered, 2 minutes. Doneness Test: Squash should feel tender when pierced with a large fork and strands of squash should start to pull away from the shell. ***6 servings*** First cooking (whole squash): HIGH for 10 minutes Second cooking (halves): HIGH for 12 minutes ***3 servings*** First cooking (whole squash): HIGH for 6 minutes Second cooking (halves): HIGH for 10 to 12 minutes
