Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients:


3/4 pound bacon -- browned drained and crumbled

1 medium Onion -- diced

16 ounces mushrooms drained or fresh

3 cans cream of potato soup

1 pint half and half

3/4 cup white wine (or increase water

3/4 cup if you prefer)

1 cup water

1/2 cup raw wild rice -- cooked , (up to 1)

2 cups shredded american cheese

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine ingredients including the cooked wild rice. Place in slow cooker on low. Leftovers may be frozen.
