Preparation / Directions:combine beans and water to cover in a stockpot, over a moderate flame heat to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 90 minutes drain, rinse well, and drain well heat olive oil in a dutch oven, over a high flame add onions and garlic saute for 10-20 minutes, until golden add remaining ingredients, except linguica heat to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 hours add linguica salt to taste simmer for 30 minutes degrease serve hot
