Brandy Pear Sorbet

Ingredients:


3/4 cup apple juice or white grape juice

1/2 cup sugar

5 medium fresh california bartlett pears -- pureed

1/2 cup apple juice or white grape juice

3 tablespoons brandy
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a large saucepan, heat juice and sugar until sugar dissolves. Cool. In large bowl, combine pear puree, apple juice or white grape juice and the brandy. Stir fruit mixture into sugar mixture. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's direction
