Crab-Apple Butter

Ingredients:


2 pounds crab-apples

3 cups sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Wash and core crab-apples. Cover with water. Cover and simmer until fruit is soft. Rub through a sieve. Add sugar. Boil slowly, stirring frequently, until thick. The Household Searchlight
