Spicy Sausage And Peppers Rigatoni

4 ounces rigatoni -- (pasta tubes with -- ridges), uncooked
2 links hot italian turkey sausage links -- sliced
1/2 cup red bell pepper -- chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper -- chopped
1 cup chunky spaghetti sauce
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese -- grated

Preparation / Directions:

Cook rigatoni to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm. Meanwhile, in medium non-stick skillet, cook sausage over medium heat for 10 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain. Add bell peppers; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until bell peppers are tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated. Serve sausage mixture over rigatoni. Sprinkle with cheese. TIPS: Freeze the sausage links for 20 to 30 minutes for easier slicing. NOTES: Turkey Italian sausage is available in hot and sweet varieties. Hot gets its spice from red pepper flakes. Sweet has a stronger fennel flavor.
